Margot is a Paris-born, New York City–based jazz vocalist, songwriter, and classically trained harpist whose elegant style blends French cabaret, timeless swing, and modern sophistication. With an airy, expressive voice and the rare ability to accompany herself on harp, she creates performances that feel refined and personal.
Raised in Paris, Margot began studying harp and piano at age four and later trained at École Normale de Musique de Parisbefore continuing at Berklee College of Music, where she focused on jazz improvisation and vocal performance. Her background allows her to move naturally between classical precision and jazz spontaneity. Known for her signature “neo-jazz cabaret” sound, blending the romance of French chanson with the warmth of American jazz. She leads So French Cabaret, a stylish ensemble inspired by the golden eras of Paris and Manhattan nightlife.
Margot has performed at venues including Birdland Jazz Club, presenting music by Édith Piaf and Charles Aznavouralongside original songs full of charm and character.
