The Kiral Artists String Quartet brings exceptional talent and refined, concert-quality music to every occasion. More than just wedding musicians, we are internationally recognized virtuosos who also perform on prestigious concert stages. Whether for a wedding ceremony, cocktail reception, corporate gala, or mitzvah, our ensemble infuses every event with unmatched artistry, elegance, and dynamic energy.
Alongside the quartet, the string trio is one of our most requested ensembles. A trio usually consists of two violins and a cello, or one violin, viola, and cello, though we can accommodate special requests — such as substituting a flutist for a violinist.
What’s the difference between a trio and a quartet?
Both ensembles exude elegance and excellence in sound. The main difference is the number of musicians. A string quartet has four players, giving it a fuller, richer, and more powerful sound. A trio has three musicians, which makes it slightly lighter and more intimate. For smaller weddings or venues, a trio provides the perfect atmosphere without being overwhelming, while still offering a polished and sophisticated sound. For larger guest counts (200+), outdoor ceremonies, or performances lasting more than two hours, we strongly recommend the string quartet, as it projects better and provides a more dynamic range.
Customization options
You can enhance either ensemble by adding additional instruments. Trumpet is a popular choice for church weddings, filling the space with ceremonial grandeur. Guitar, piano, or keyboard can create a romantic or modern touch. For cocktail hours, even a simple Cajon drum can transform the atmosphere into something more upbeat.
