Romantic Wedding on Spring Island

Have you heard of Spring Island? It’s a private island near Bluffton in South Carolina and one of the most exclusive wedding destinations in the Lowcountry. Alongside venues such as Palmetto Bluff, Kiawah Island, Hilton Head Island, and nearby Savannah, Georgia, this region offers some of the most beautiful settings for destination weddings in the Southeast.

We had the chance to be part of another incredible wedding here. I’m not the right person to describe the décor in detail, but I would love to share a bit about the music and the overall atmosphere we helped create.

This wedding was truly memorable. The weather was perfect, no wind, ideal temperature, birds singing, and live music flowing naturally throughout the day. We had a baby grand piano delivered and placed in the middle of the plantation, which created such an elegant and romantic setting.

Our Charleston Virtuosi string quartet performed during the wedding ceremony and cocktail hour, featuring a mix of classical and pop covers. This style of live music is especially popular for weddings across Spring Island, Kiawah Island, Palmetto Bluff, and the greater Lowcountry. Each moment felt intentional, from the ceremony to the transition into cocktail hour.

To make that transition even more special, our bagpipe player led guests from the ceremony location to the cocktail hour at the Old Stone Ruins. It added a unique and unforgettable touch that fit perfectly with the natural surroundings.
